Privacy policy
Last updated October 2026
Aradhanawa helps couples and families send digital invitations. This policy explains what we collect and how we protect it, in line with Sri Lanka's Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and (if you use Google sign-in) your Google profile picture.
- Invitation content you create: names, event details, photos, music selection.
- Guest information you add: names, phone numbers, seat counts and their RSVP responses.
- Payment records. Card payments are processed by PayHere — we never see or store card numbers.
How we use it
Only to provide the service: showing invitations to the guests you invite, collecting RSVPs on your behalf, processing payments and supporting you. We never sell personal data or send marketing messages to your guests.
Guest privacy
Invitation pages are excluded from search engines. Each personal link contains a long random code. Guest lists are visible only to the invitation owner and authorised Aradhanawa staff for support.
Retention & deletion
Invitations go offline when their plan period ends. You can delete an invitation (and its guest list) or your whole account at any time from your dashboard, or by emailing hello@aradhanawa.lk.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, sign-in attempts are rate-limited and administrative actions are audited.
